Health Services at Compass Health

Health services at Compass Health

The majority of service provision in the Compass Health Primary Health Organisation (PHO) is completed through our contracted network of General Practice providers. In New Zealand, General Practice will generally be your first point of contact with the health system. General Practice Teams will include General Practitioners, Practice Nurses and sometimes other health professionals working together to improve, maintain, restore and co-ordinate people's health care. General Practice Teams focus on patient needs and enhancing a network among local communities and other health and non-health agencies.

The Compass Health PHO is also responsible for a number of services in the region that are not based in any specific health centre or practice.
